Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Better Everyday Clinic, you will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where collaboration and innovation are encouraged. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by consulting with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms accurately.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions through detailed assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans that address each patient's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercise techniques and educate patients on their effective use to promote healing and recovery.
• Administer manual therapies, such as stimulation or massage, as well as teach techniques to facilitate healing.
• Provide guidance and assistance to patients in using mobility-enhancing devices like wheelchairs and walkers while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records to track progress and document treatment outcomes.
• Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises to promote ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from children to adults, each presenting various conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and age-related mobility issues. Our focus is not only on physical rehabilitation but also on instilling a sense of empowerment and self-confidence in our patients as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A proactive approach, showcasing flexibility and the ability to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment adjustments.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, newly graduated physical therapists are also encouraged to apply. Our mentorship program is designed to support new graduates as they transition into professional practice.

Compensation and Benefits

Your expertise will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
