Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of orthopedic patients, assessing their physical conditions, movement patterns, and functional limitations to form a baseline for treatment.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Employ various therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and other orthopedic interventions to enhance patient strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans proactively to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education activities to remain updated on advancements in orthopedic physical therapy and best practice methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus primarily on patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and degenerative musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their mobility and independence, allowing them to return to their daily lives and activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong competency in orthopedic assessment techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities.
