Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Care and Connects Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to address various psychological issues.

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet specific client goals.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Continuously enhance your skill set by attending workshops and professional development sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance misuse issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within mental health practice.
