Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews and maintain meticulous case documentation, from the initial consultation through to the final stages of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through standardized assessments to facilitate appropriate intervention strategies.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans that comprehensively address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions designed to promote healing and skill development.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to coordinate holistic care.

• Proactively follow up with clients in crisis, ensuring continuous support, especially for those requiring hospitalization or additional care services.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery stemming from behavioral patterns, facilitating preventive strategies for sustained progress.

• Support clients’ families and caregivers in developing effective coping strategies and understanding mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction-related disorders. Your ability to engage with clients from varied backgrounds and understand their unique contextual experiences will be crucial in fostering trust and engagement in therapeutic processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor in clinical settings.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, for effective documentation and patient management.
\n
• Robust understanding of various mental health conditions, including knowledge of substance use disorders.
\n
• Awareness of contemporary best practices as guided by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
\n
• A strongly empathetic approach, underpinned by excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
