Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in special education to a rewarding contract role supporting students in a dynamic, inclusive school environment. Two full-time positions are available for dual-certified Special Education Teachers to serve early childhood and K-5 resource classrooms. Each role involves dividing your time equally between early childhood special education and K-5 resource support, allowing you to impact learners across different developmental stages.

This is an onsite opportunity starting approximately September 2, 2026, and continuing through June 4, 2027. With a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals committed to student growth and success.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Minnesota teaching license with dual certification in Early Childhood Special Education and Elementary Special Education (must attach PDF).
• Proven experience or background working with early childhood and K-5 special education caseloads.
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering specialized instruction for students on your caseload, adapting materials to meet individualized needs.
• Conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and tracking student progress.
• Collaborating with other educators and professionals to develop and adjust student learning plans.
• Communicating regularly with families and supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
• Maintaining compliance with district and state special education requirements.
