Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Ideal candidates will bring:
- Dual certification as a Special Education Teacher for the state of Minnesota (please include a PDF of your valid MN teaching license when applying)
- Previous experience supporting diverse learners, ideally in a resource or K-5 setting
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and specialists
- Ability to adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, empowering learning environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering resource support and specialized instruction to identified students in grades K-5
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collecting and analyzing student data to adjust instruction and interventions
- Coordinating with general education teachers and other service providers
- Engaging families in the educational process and maintaining regular communication
- Managing a full-time caseload with professionalism and compassion
This position is scheduled for approximately 37.5 hours per week, from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027.
