Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in a dynamic educational setting near Andover, MN. Multiple contract opportunities are available—one full-time and one part-time—with schedules catering to your availability. Experience the fulfillment of guiding two small, self-contained groups of 6–8 students and collaborate closely with dedicated paraeducators for comprehensive support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education teaching license
- Experience working with young children with diverse abilities, preferably in self-contained or specialized settings
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to work with paraeducators and school teams
- Strong organizational skills for paperwork and documentation on designated planning days
- Flexibility to adapt to differing student needs and potential floating substitute responsibilities
Position Details:
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:15 am–4:15 pm
- Group 1: Tuesday–Friday mornings
- Group 2: Tuesday–Friday afternoons
- Mondays reserved for paperwork, meetings, or floating sub duties within the ECSE program
- Part-time: 0.5 FTE with flexibility in scheduling (e.g., M–F 8:15–12:15, or select full/half days)
- Engage similar student groups with potential for the role to grow into full-time
