Work Environment

Our modern rehabilitation center in Jersey City is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, creating an ideal environment for patient recovery. The center is designed specifically to cater to the unique needs of our senior population. As part of our team, you will benefit from a culture of collaboration and transparency, receiving comprehensive reports on your performance metrics and compensation structures. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical abilities and create customized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities to address specific health issues.
• Monitor and document patient progress systematically, making informed adjustments to treatment plans based on individual responses and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals—such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians—to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on effective therapeutic techniques and strategies for enhancing recovery, including home exercise programs and injury prevention practices.
• Implement fall prevention initiatives and safety protocols in our facility to mitigate risk for all patients.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuous professional development and education, actively contributing to the enhancement of your skills.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering the highest level of care consistently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on our geriatric clients, a demographic with distinct physical and emotional needs often shaped by aging-related challenges. By working closely with seniors, you will empower them through rehabilitation that enhances mobility, reduces pain, and improves overall well-being. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy, particularly as they pertain to geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Skilled in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and other documentation tools essential for patient management.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-centered care with a focus on enhancing independence and quality of life.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in geriatric therapy is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow in this field are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
