Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Urban Arc Psychiatry Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.

• Providing individual and couples therapy utilizing tailored therapeutic techniques that promote personal growth, emotional healing, and improved functioning.

• Setting collaborative treatment goals with clients and tracking their progress through regular follow-ups and check-ins.

• Collaborating with colleagues in staff meetings and supervision sessions to share insights, discuss challenges, and refine therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with diverse client populations, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your focus will involve individual therapy sessions as well as couples counseling, addressing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Your efforts will significantly enhance clients' capacities to cope with difficulties, paving the way for healthier interpersonal relationships and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Illinois.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n
