Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, performing psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify their needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with students, considering their unique goals and cultural factors.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) appropriately in individual and group settings.

• Offer crisis intervention services to students in acute distress and coordinate with educational staff and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.

• Maintain precise clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in alignment with clinic policies and legal regulations.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families to promote understanding and skills for managing mental health challenges effectively.
\n
• Engage regularly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
\n
• Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate and adjust treatment strategies based on effectiveness and student feedback.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research in mental health practices and incorporate new insights into your therapeutic approach.

• Adhere to ethical standards and ensure confidentiality of student information in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with students ranging from elementary through high school, each facing their own unique mental health challenges. You will provide support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Your ability to connect with students from various cultural backgrounds and foster trust is vital to their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• An active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
