Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility, providing a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere where healthcare professionals can excel. Working approximately 40 hours per week with shifts starting at 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday, our urgent care team operates during peak times to manage patient inflow efficiently. The facility is designed with modern medical equipment and resources, creating the ideal setting for urgent care practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, assess medical histories, and analyze existing medical records to discern health issues.
• Order, interpret, and explain diagnostic tests such as blood panels and X-rays to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and manage a range of acute medical conditions, including minor injuries, infections, and illnesses.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe medications, evaluate their effectiveness, and adjust prescriptions as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and schedules in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, proactive measures, and management of diseases.
• Promote health literacy by sharing knowledge on preventive health practices and community health resources.

Qualifications

• Active State Physician Assistant license (PA-C).

Compensation and Benefits
