Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ needs, abilities, and motivations, considering the psychological dimensions of physical ailments, disabilities, and substance use issues.

• Diagnose and treat a variety of behavioral health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and more, tailoring therapeutic interventions based on individual cases.
\n
• Establish collaborative treatment goals with clients, leveraging appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques—such as cognitive therapy, crisis intervention, and family counseling—to support their emotional and mental health journeys.

• Engage in the observation and critical evaluation of human behavior, employing psychological principles to devise effective treatment strategies and interventions for those with mental or emotional challenges.
\n
• Document all clinical notes accurately and concisely in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and proposing improvements in our mental health programs and interventions as needed.

• Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisors or senior staff as required.

The population served primarily includes adults facing a variety of mental health issues. As an LICSW at Pacific River Counseling, you will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, substance use problems, and other conditions that impact quality of life. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, including the completion of a clinical internship.

• Valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification in the state of Washington.

• Experience providing direct psychological services in an outpatient or consultative capacity within the last 12 months.

• Experience working within a school-based or educational setting, adapting mental health services to the unique needs of educational environments.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of ethics concerning mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
