Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patient histories and suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the processing of trauma and helping them establish effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Respond to crises and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, practical coping strategies, and available resources to foster understanding and manage expectations.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring precise record-keeping.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to reinforce trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and other distressing life events. You will play a key role in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys through tailored therapeutic interventions, ensuring they feel safe and supported throughout the process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities and trauma-related disorders.

• Ability to convey compassion and empathy in high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications, facilitating seamless documentation and patient interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, what matters most is your commitment to helping others heal. Experience in trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be particularly valuable as you work with our diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits\n
