About the Organization

Active Motion and Movement Physical Therapy is an innovative orthopedic outpatient practice committed to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services. Located in a state-of-the-art, 5000-square-foot facility, we primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance. Our team currently comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively to ensure positive patient outcomes in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite in our cutting-edge outpatient facility. You will be engaged in a dynamic work atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a harmonious work-life balance while serving our community's physical therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and address the unique needs and objectives of each patient.
• Maintain a focused patient load of one client per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to individual conditions.
• Utilize your expertise in manual therapy and exercise programming to enhance patient mobility and functional capability.
• Prioritize non-surgical interventions, minimizing reliance on medications and promoting alternative therapies.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, ensuring accurate records that reflect progress and treatment efficacy.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcome evaluations.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies to maintain health and enhance physical longevity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters primarily to patients who have undergone orthopedic surgeries, are rehabilitating from sports-related injuries, or have chronic pain conditions. The clientele consists mainly of adults covered by private medical insurance, providing a unique opportunity to implement high-quality, individualized treatment plans that cater to active lifestyles and athletic performance. You will directly contribute to their journey towards improved physical function and independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, without any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques and designing evidence-based exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, for streamlined documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Skills in implementing patient-specific plans using cost-effective therapeutic modalities.
• Proven ability to foster strong patient relationships and provide motivational support throughout the treatment process.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
