Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments by taking patient vitals before and after procedures, ensuring precise documentation of their health status.
• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform detailed physical examinations to guide treatment decisions.
• Engage in discussions with patients regarding their pain management options, explaining procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications clearly and empathetically.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that are both effective and tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Accredited Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies required.
• Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license to practice in New York.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, ideally in a Pain Management setting, is required for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients with excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex medical information to patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
