Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Work closely with the supervising physician to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address each patient's individual needs and pain management goals.
• Perform clinical procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks, always ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols under physician supervision.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Educate patients regarding pain management techniques, medication use, and lifestyle modifications that can improve their quality of life.
• Actively collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant in this role will work with a diverse population, treating patients experiencing a range of acute and chronic pain conditions such as back pain, arthritis, migraines, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical pain. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to empathize with patients, actively listen to their concerns, and develop trust, ensuring a reassuring environment for those navigating difficult treatment journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure and board certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient safety standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate approach to patient interactions.
• A proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
