Work Environment\n

This position offers flexibility in a remote work setting, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our outpatient office is dedicated to creating a conducive environment for quality mental health care, where therapists can focus on treatment without distraction. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we acknowledge the necessity for some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to determine patients' unique needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, tailored to individual or family needs.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community and address common mental health issues, enhancing social support systems for participants.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care, contributing to coordinated treatment plans.

• Respond to mental health emergencies by providing crisis intervention services and immediate support to clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and valuable community resources to encourage informed participation in their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and case consultations by participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices in the field.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in New York State.

• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to conduct detailed mental health assessments and develop successful treatment strategies.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy across diverse populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building therapeutic alliances.

• Ability to adhere to professional ethics and boundaries while delivering compassionate care.

• Familiarity with EHR software and ability to leverage technology for treatment documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
