Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the individual needs of children and adolescents facing diverse challenges.

• Craft and implement targeted treatment plans that reflect the developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific mental health concerns of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to support their children’s mental health effectively.

• Collaborate with a team of experienced child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a unified, holistic approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, safeguarding the welfare of our young clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in adherence to legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to foster a collaborative environment and share insights for improved patient care.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health, applying the latest knowledge to your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges that impact their daily living and development. The therapist will play a pivotal role in helping young clients navigate their emotions, build resilience, and foster healthy coping mechanisms within a supportive family and community framework.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy to young individuals facing various challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate focus on the needs of children and adolescents.

• Proficiency in building rapport and trust with clients and their families to foster effective therapeutic relationships.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
