Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring their specific needs and concerns are addressed.

• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of each patient.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in adherence to HIPAA regulations, documenting treatment progress and client interactions detailedly.

• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultations with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to discuss patient care and treatment updates.

• Provide psychoeducation and emotional support to clients and their families, empowering them with information about mental health, treatment options, and local resources.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health therapy through continuous education and training opportunities, applying new knowledge to improve care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Mind Congruency, you will work with a diverse patient population facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and relationship issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, providing you with the opportunity to understand and support individuals in different life circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within New Jersey.

• Proven ability in implementing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques tailored to client needs.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to promote positive therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities to address client challenges effectively.
