School Speech Language Pathologist - Garland, Texas

Step into a pivotal role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is based near Garland, TX, and is designed for professionals who are passionate about fostering communication skills in a school environment.


In this full-time position, you'll work onsite with an elementary caseload of approximately 40 students, offering both direct therapy and broader support through evaluations, IEP development, and teamwork with educators and families. The ability to provide services in both Spanish and English is essential.


Qualifications & Preferred Attributes:

• Current, active Texas SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English required
• Prior work in a school-based setting and familiarity with elementary-aged students preferred
• Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop IEP goals and provide therapy in both individual and group settings
• Coordinate with special education teams, classroom teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress
• Attend and contribute to IEP and team meetings
