School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Garland, Texas

Step into an impactful role for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving as an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple private and home school settings. This full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) allows you to travel between campuses and provide speech-language therapy, evaluations, and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, making a difference for diverse student populations.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting speech and language assessments, documenting and interpreting results.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
• Delivering both direct intervention and consultative services in accordance with IEP objectives.
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, families, and special education teams to maximize student progress.
• Providing clear documentation and thorough reports, maintaining compliance and high professional standards.
• Traveling to assigned private or home school sites throughout the week.

Preferred experience and requirements:

• Active Texas SLP License is required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with an aptitude for meticulous documentation.
• Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and maintain reliable transportation.
