Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive assessments to understand the unique needs of each client.

• Develop individualized therapy plans that are evidence-based and aim to empower clients in developing coping strategies and resilience.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that may include cognitive-behavioral techniques, family systems therapy, or solution-focused interventions.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessments, safety planning, and ongoing support during acute episodes.

• Document treatment plans and client progress in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies using our practice management system.

• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultations to discuss therapeutic approaches and enhance professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, couples, and families. The clinic handles various mental health concerns such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and developmental challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
