Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate symptoms' severity, frequency, and duration in clients, using standardized tools and interviews.

• Co-create individualized treatment plans with clients that address their unique experiences, goals, and therapeutic preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your sessions.

• Provide education and supportive resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment methods, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a well-rounded and cohesive treatment approach.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research and trends in the field of mood disorders to inform your practice.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment methodologies accurately and in compliance with confidentiality regulations.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and share best practices in treatment.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client base, particularly students aged 12 and older, addressing challenges related to mood disorders, anxiety, and emotional distress. By offering tailored therapeutic support, you will significantly impact their recovery and adjustment in educational settings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience providing mental health therapy.

• Two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
