Work Environment\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our hospice center, you will work in a climate-controlled office environment, designed to promote productivity and collaboration. Although this is a remote role, you will have regular interactions with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and counselors. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting the emotional and psychological wellness of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health needs, utilizing tools from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to tailor individualized care plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support the mental health needs of patients AND families coping with cancer diagnoses.

• Document treatment records, progress notes, and reports meticulously using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

• Collaborate actively with patients and their families to co-create treatment plans, effectively addressing unique cultural backgrounds and personal goals.

• Engage in ongoing progress assessments and adapt interventions to ensure effective management of mental health diagnoses, helping patients navigate their feelings and thoughts throughout the treatment journey.

• Coordinate referrals to other mental health professionals or support services as needed, serving as a vital link between patients and treatment resources.

• Provide supervision and mentorship to interns, students, and new staff members, fostering professional development within the social work field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 105,000 annually, complemented by an attractive sign-on bonus.
