Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, strengths, and available resources.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the unique psychosocial needs of patients and their families.

• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, and chaplains—to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, support groups, and educational workshops to enhance coping strategies for families mourning the impending loss of a loved one.

• Manage crisis situations by providing timely intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with terminally ill patients and their families, focusing on emotional resilience, coping strategies, grief processing, and the overall quality of life during challenging transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
