Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring the incorporation of evidence-based methodologies.

• Document client interactions and treatment outcomes in line with regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with all necessary guidelines.

• Utilize screening tools to identify behavioral health concerns, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective positive behavior support plans.

• Participate proactively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

• Act as a liaison between clients, community partners, and state agencies to facilitate smooth referrals and resource access.

• Maintain open communication with clients and team members to foster a supportive environment and ensure aligned goals towards recovery and wellness.

• Engage in continuous professional development and represent Blue Ridge Behavioral Health at networking events, conferences, and community engagements.

• Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including those recovering from substance abuse, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those in need of support following an acquired brain injury. Your expertise will not only support their mental health needs but will also help them access community resources and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory.

• Must possess an active and independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Virginia.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining clinical records and drafting comprehensive treatment reports.
\n
• Proficient in working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
\n
• Strong oral and written communication skills, essential for articulating treatment plans and client progress effectively.
\n
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions based on professional best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth services is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.

• Previous involvement with crisis intervention or pre-crisis planning is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
