Empower Concierge Rehab and PT is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Sports Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our healthcare team in Pompano Beach, Florida. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional rehabilitation services to athletes and active individuals recovering from sports-related injuries and orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and establish individualized rehabilitation plans based on the assessment findings and patient goals.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and other rehabilitation specialists to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, functional strength training, neuromuscular re-education, and advanced injury prevention techniques.
• Educate patients and families about injury management strategies, performance enhancement, and long-term wellness practices tailored to their active lifestyles.
• Monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR), adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs focusing on sports health, safety, and prevention of injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on treating a diverse patient population, primarily active individuals and athletes who sustain a wide range of sports-related injuries. Common conditions include ligament tears, muscle strains, tendonitis, and post-surgical recovery following orthopedic procedures. Your expertise will be essential in helping these individuals regain their strength and return to their athletic activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain prior to employment start date.
• A minimum of two years of experience in sports medicine or orthopedic physical therapy settings.
• Certification as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) or plans to pursue this designation is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on a patient-centered approach.
• Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting is beneficial, as well as familiarity with electronic medical recording systems and rehabilitation software. A strong background in evidence-based practice and innovative therapeutic techniques will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our patients' recovery journeys.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
