Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, facilitating a thorough understanding of individual needs and concerns.

• Deliver personalized individual and family therapy sessions, tailoring therapy approaches to meet the specific requirements of each patient.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including billing, insurance authorization forms, and individualized treatment plans, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with clients to develop crisis management and safety plans, helping to maintain stability in their mental health journey.
\n
• Create and implement effective discharge plans for patients transitioning to lower intensity levels of care.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state laws, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to ensure compliance and best practice care.

• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay abreast of industry trends and enhance your therapeutic approach.

• Engage in case consultation and participate in agency meetings to contribute to team learning and development.
\n
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training to uphold professional competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Forte Well-Being, you will serve a diverse client population within the Gresham, Oregon region and beyond. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will involve building therapeutic relationships and implementing evidence-based interventions that empower clients to achieve their mental health goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field that qualifies for licensing.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Oregon.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing telehealth counseling services is preferred but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated expertise in a specific area of mental health, such as children, adolescents, or trauma-informed care, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
