Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with your clients. Our practice understands the importance of work-life balance, supporting our team members with flexible schedules during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients experiencing mood disorders, gathering detailed information on symptom severity and impact on daily life.

• Develop individualized treatment plans alongside clients, focusing on their unique needs, goals, and preferences, while also incorporating family dynamics.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them with knowledge and skills.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, making data-informed adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals, ensuring integrated mental health care and addressing all facets of a client's condition.

• Stay informed on the latest research in mental health, particularly mood disorders, to continue embracing the best practice approaches in therapy.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development to continually enhance your clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients and work towards destigmatizing mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients coping with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Engaging with a range of individuals, you will adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the varying needs of each client, thereby fostering an inclusive environment that promotes healing and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington State is required.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and its application in treatment planning, ensuring effective collaboration with psychiatrists.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes while treating mood disorders through therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health setting or outpatient practice is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
