Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-up sessions with clients to determine their mental health status and therapeutic needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, evidence-based practices, and client feedback.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive techniques to ensure that all clients feel valued and included.

• Provide clients with applicable coping strategies, resources, and tools to help them effectively address and manage their mental health issues.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our EHR system.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay current with developments in mental health therapy practices and participate in continuous professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Hopeful Horizons, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of clients, including those grappling with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health settings.
\n
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in handling crisis intervention scenarios calmly and effectively.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Experience with EHR systems to document client interactions and treatment plans properly.
\n
• Commitment to ethical practices, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
