Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and inform treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique experiences, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote overall mental wellness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and the principles of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with slightly lesser experience but a strong passion for trauma care may still be considered. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, as well as familiarity with multi-disciplinary team collaboration, will be valuable assets.

Compensation and Benefits\n
