Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, evaluating their severity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment planning.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating their specific goals and preferences to ensure meaningful engagement in their healing journey.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to enhance client coping mechanisms and emotional regulation.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery.

• Continuously monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the biopsychosocial factors influencing mental health.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field, integrating this knowledge into practice to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
