Work Environment

As a member of our onsite outpatient office team, you will enjoy a friendly and collaborative atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and mutual support among colleagues. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care in line with the physician's prescribed plan, utilizing the best practices within the physical therapy field.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using evidence-based assessment techniques to determine patient capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment programs designed to meet individualized patient goals, monitoring progress regularly.
• Make precise observations regarding patient tolerance and progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Implement and respond to emergency procedures to ensure patient safety and well-being, demonstrating reliability and composure under pressure.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously according to departmental policies and compliance standards.
• Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings to enhance service delivery and foster a culture of excellence.
• Facilitate clear communication with patients and their families, participating in meetings to discuss care plans and progress updates.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult and elderly patients requiring rehabilitation due to post-operative care, sports injuries, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will foster a supportive and educational environment for patients and their families, effectively guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and active California Physical Therapy license in good standing is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with relevant clinical experience is essential.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes and challenges in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations, including those with orthopedic and neurological disorders.
• Previous involvement in quality assurance processes or performance improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and patient documentation systems.
• Specialization or additional qualifications in areas such as sports therapy, geriatrics, or pediatrics are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
