Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings to evaluate the psychological impact of patients' chronic medical conditions.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate both psychiatric and medical considerations, collaborating with medical providers to assure continuity of care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate interventions and support to patients experiencing acute distress or emergency situations.

• Educate patients on the connection between mental and physical health, helping them understand and manage their conditions effectively.

• Ensure all patient documentation is meticulously recorded, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients primarily consist of individuals grappling with co-occurring disorders, featuring both mental health issues and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to, chronic pain syndromes, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. You will play a pivotal role in guiding these patients towards stability and recovery by offering compassionate and individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid licensure in the state as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Strong proficiency in addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by individuals with chronic medical conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
