Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that take their unique needs, preferences, and goals into account.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing and recovery.

• Monitor clients’ progress, reassessing treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changes in their mental health status and goals.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients, including medication management considerations.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mood disorder treatments.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated competence in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
