Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement tailored clinical treatment plans for a diverse population of clients experiencing acute or chronic mental health issues, ensuring they receive the most effective and individualized care.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and prepare comprehensive case summaries, while meticulously maintaining confidential client records in compliance with state and NCQA regulations.

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing evidence-based practices to foster healing and promote mental wellness.

• Collaborate effectively with medical and psychiatric teams, participating in regular staff meetings to evaluate and refine treatment strategies while integrating feedback from other healthcare professionals.

• Assist in the supervision of clinical trainees, including Post Masters Fellows and Associate therapists, to foster their professional growth and ensure high-quality service delivery.

• Offer support and educational resources to clients’ families to enhance treatment adherence and engagement, demonstrating a family-centered approach to mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The mental health counselor will work primarily with a varied patient population, which includes individuals of all ages facing mental health challenges ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma to more complex psychiatric disorders. The therapist's role will involve not only direct support but also the establishment of partnerships with families and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care plans are realized.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of an active license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, dependent on caseload and experience.
