Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Providing a full spectrum of counseling services to clients, addressing mental health challenges in a culturally responsive manner.

• Engaging clients in therapeutic conversations to identify goals, develop treatment plans, and implement appropriate interventions.

• Monitoring and guiding your clients in their daily living activities, which may include offering assistance with meal preparation and grocery shopping.

• Ensuring clients adhere to their medication schedules by providing prompts and reminders, while also facilitating communication with prescribing physicians regarding refills and follow-ups.

• Coordinating transportation needs for clients, including teaching the use of public transport and ensuring attendance at medical appointments.

• Maintaining an organized and supportive environment by ensuring household supplies are adequate and accessible.

• Documenting all client interactions and treatment progress meticulously, while adhering to regulatory and contractual standards to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members to communicate client progress and challenges effectively.

• Actively participating in team meetings to discuss client care and any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children, adolescents, and their families from diverse ethnic backgrounds who may be facing various mental health challenges. Clients may arrive with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and complex behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field, from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent, and not possess an associate license, as billable through Medicare is required.
