Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage actively with the community through outreach activities that promote holistic wellness, particularly targeting birthing individuals and families.

• Participate in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning sessions to enhance clinical skills and share knowledge.

• Complete accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

• Deliver comprehensive behavioral health services that include assessments, counseling, and case management specifically designed for Black birthing families.
\n
• Collaborate with the prenatal care team, including medical providers and doula services, to ensure integrated and quality care across services.

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum support groups, enhancing the experiences of new parents and supporting community-building.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on serving Black birthing families, a demographic that often faces unique challenges in accessing quality mental health resources. By focusing on holistic wellness and culturally competent care, you will play a vital role in supporting new parents as they navigate the complexities of childbirth and postpartum life.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Candidates must hold active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage professionally with diverse populations and interdisciplinary teams.

• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in working with perinatal populations or within community health settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and methodologies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role provides a competitive salary range of $120,000–130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
