Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their challenges from initial consultation through the entire treatment process.

• Develop and implement personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing proven therapeutic modalities to foster growth and recovery.

• Regularly monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment plan, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical providers, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Conduct follow-ups with relevant healthcare providers for clients who may require hospitalization or additional support.

• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, offering skills and strategies to clients and their families.

• Assist family members and caregivers in managing their loved ones' mental health challenges, providing resources and education to enhance support systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of relevant examinations, such as the NCE or NCMHCE.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, essential for maintaining accurate client records and facilitating therapy sessions.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a supportive approach to client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, effectively managing mental health counseling in a telehealth setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, enhancing efficiency in documentation and client management.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders and co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, equipping you to handle complex client needs.

• Understanding of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and the ability to integrate these into your daily work.

• In-depth understanding of pharmacological treatments and their interactions, supporting informed discussions with clients and healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, and we offer a competitive sign-on bonus as well.
