Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to thoroughly understand their mental health status and concerns.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address individual client needs, therapeutic goals, and evidence-based interventions.

• Provide ongoing therapy, including individual and group sessions, focusing on cognitive-behavioral techniques and other therapeutic modalities.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions when necessary, employing strong crisis management skills to support clients in urgent situations.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources, to create a comprehensive support system for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in our EHR system.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will encompass a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. You will be equipped to work with both adult and adolescent populations, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet the distinct cultural and emotional needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree in an applicable discipline is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent in New Jersey.

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong background in various therapeutic practices.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments, alongside the ability to apply culturally competent therapeutic methods.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and facilitate client trust effectively.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
