Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to determine individual needs and establish a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to their conditions.
• Communicate assessment findings and collaboratively set treatment goals with patients and their families, ensuring they are informed and engaged in their recovery process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting interventions based on ongoing assessments of the patient's health status and changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams as necessary, documenting any significant changes in a patient's condition that may require alterations to their therapy or the involvement of other medical professionals.
• Provide detailed documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring clarity and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Maintain effective time management and productivity, keeping an organized schedule while actively contributing to departmental goals and initiatives.
• Engage in marketing activities that promote the clinic's services within the community, fostering stronger connections with local healthcare providers and potential patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapy license pertinent to Florida regulations.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required.
• A strong commitment to patient-centric care and collaborative team-oriented practices.

Preferred Experience

While prior professional experience is not required, candidates who have experience in home care settings or with specific patient populations, such as geriatric or post-operative patients, will be highly regarded. Exposure to community outreach initiatives is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
