Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Fortius, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video conferencing, ensuring compassionate and ethical treatment for each client.

• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic modalities to design and implement individualized treatment plans that facilitate positive outcomes.

• Monitor client progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to better serve their developing needs.

• Help clients cultivate self-awareness and insight into their emotions, behaviors, and relationships, equipping them with the tools needed for sustained personal growth.

• Document all interactions and treatment milestones accurately and timely, while adhering to organizational policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on stable, low-acuity adults who present a varied range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. Through supportive communication, your role will involve helping these individuals develop essential coping strategies, resilience, and skills to improve their overall quality of life. Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid state-issued mental health counseling license to practice independently; candidates should specify their licensing credentials, which may include:

• Licensed Psychologist

• No limited/provisional licenses; candidates must have a clean disciplinary record.

• Strong proficiency in using technology, including a computer equipped with a webcam and audio capabilities for delivering video sessions.

• A reliable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in virtual counseling are highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n

Fortius offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and work hours. Additional benefits include:
