Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including strategies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate the healing process.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma and learn adaptive coping strategies.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safeguarding of clients.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential patient documentation, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and contributing to team learning focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving a diverse patient population, including individuals with complex trauma histories and co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a trauma-informed setting.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, therapeutic modalities, and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
