Work Environment\n

This position operates within a dynamic outpatient office environment that allows for both in-home and group therapy interventions. Although remote, therapists are encouraged to regularly collaborate with a multi-disciplinary Child Family Treatment Team to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, either within clients' homes or via our secure online platform.

• Provide targeted support in areas such as anger management, coping strategies, and social skills, while developing interventions that aim to reduce high-risk behaviors.

• Strengthen the decision-making skills of both youth and their caregivers to effectively manage behavioral challenges at home.
\n
• Engage in consistent collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to maintain a unified approach to client care.
\n
• Ensure timely documentation and compliance with agency requirements, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for improved therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will directly support a diverse cross-section of children and adolescents, particularly those between the ages of 3 to 20, who experience various developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Your work will focus on empowering these youth and their families, providing them with the tools needed to navigate daily obstacles and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related therapeutic field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification is essential for this role.

• The candidate must be available for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, particularly during after-school hours from 4-7 pm, with a willingness to accommodate weekend sessions as needed.

• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle are required for in-home visits.
\n
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support techniques is highly valued.

• Prior experience in working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a significant plus.

• Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese are strongly preferred, allowing us to better serve a broader range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
