Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting measurable goals.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on assessment findings and current best practices, adapting strategies as required by evolving patient conditions and healthcare guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care; recognize changes in patient conditions that necessitate adjustments to the plan of care.
• Complete thorough discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities, including evaluations, encounter notes, and progress summaries.
• Exhibit effective time management skills to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an organized schedule and punctuality for appointments and team meetings.
• Participate in marketing initiatives to promote our services within the community and remove barriers to access for our patients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and education, including pursuing advanced certifications as needed and serving as a clinical instructor for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapists primarily serve individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain issues. The patient demographic includes adults and older adults who require physical rehabilitation due to conditions including sports injuries, joint replacements, and post-operative care. Our therapists utilize compassionate communication and tailored treatment strategies to enhance patient engagement and adherence, effectively supporting their recovery and return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.

• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software for patient documentation and management reporting.

Compensation and Benefits
