Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests and imaging studies to form differential diagnoses based on clinical findings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth hospital admissions, transfers, and discharges, as well as organize proper inpatient and outpatient care accommodations.
• Design and implement patient care plans, prioritizing teaching and counseling sessions that empower patients and their families to understand disease processes and effective care management strategies.
• Perform phone triage for acute clinical issues, guiding patients through assessments and prescribing necessary treatments per established protocols.
• Document care and treatment plans accurately and participate in quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development initiatives to remain updated with current medical protocols and advances in behavioral health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily provide care for children and adolescents, addressing both physical and mental health issues. Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Possess an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• A Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or completion of an accredited NP Certificate Program.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits

The Nurse Practitioner position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 160,000 , based on your experience and patient caseload.
