Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent and high-quality patient care according to recognized national and community standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily provide care to children and adolescents within the school environment. You will be responsible for managing a range of health concerns, from routine check-ups to addressing acute illnesses, ensuring age-appropriate care that considers the growth and development stages of our young patients. Establishing a trusting relationship with students and their families is key to achieving optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• New York State certification/registration as a Family, Adult, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• AANP Board Certification is mandatory.
• DEA license is required for prescription management.
• Ability to obtain appropriate privileges from FFTH for practice.
• Preferred knowledge of ICD-10 coding.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner is desirable, providing familiarity with outpatient clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is set between $150,000 and $160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
