Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care across the healthcare continuum to assigned patients.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, including obtaining medical and psychosocial histories, along with conducting age-appropriate physical exams.
• Conduct non-invasive preventive screenings tailored to patients’ age and historical data to ensure prompt diagnosis and interventions.
• Formulate differential diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations and clinical findings, identifying potential health issues early.
• Design and implement personalized education plans to improve patient understanding of their health conditions, promoting patient empowerment.
• Prescribe and administer pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as needed, ensuring alignment with best practices and patient safety standards.

In this role, you will primarily focus on a young patient population within the school, addressing various health concerns that range from routine check-ups to urgent care situations. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited institution.
• An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits
