Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients to assess their mental health needs and formulate effective treatment strategies using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

• Lead optional support groups that provide a safe space for clients to share their experiences and promote community healing.

• Collaborate with our Content Manager to produce 'Expert Insights' articles that share valuable knowledge and strategies with the broader community.

• Foster strong therapeutic alliances by demonstrating empathy and active listening skills in all client interactions.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including annual CEU credit acquisition with expenses covered by the company.
\n
• Utilize clinical engagement skills to effectively work with a diverse client population and support their recovery journey.
\n
• Access a network of community recovery resources, guiding clients on available options like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management.

• Receive client referrals and manage follow-ups to ensure clients are well-supported throughout their therapy journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, particularly focusing on adult clients who are navigating their relationships with alcohol. Many individuals may request moderation strategies rather than complete abstinence, and as such, you should have a solid understanding of the harm-reduction model. The ideal candidate will foster a therapeutic environment that emphasizes respect and acceptance of each client’s unique path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in the state of Texas.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

• Experience or training in CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic methodologies is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated clinical engagement skills with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not a requirement, experience in support group facilitation and a background in community recovery resources will be considered advantageous. Understanding the principles of harm reduction and the ability to integrate this into your practice will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities based on performance.
