Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. Our counselors work flexible hours accommodating our operating window from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Through a combination of individual and group therapy sessions conducted via secure online platforms, you will play a vital role in delivering care to a client population eager for support and healing. Our infrastructure provides comprehensive scheduling assistance, easing administrative burdens so you can focus on client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, tailoring treatment approaches to individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and critical support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance when needed.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to enhance their understanding and involvement.

• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential documentation in strict compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives centered on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n

One Step Forward Recovery & Counseling PC offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
